A 16-year-old male neutered cat is presented for a one-week history of anorexia, vomiting, and inappropriate urination. The cat has a several month history of increased drinking and urination.
On exam the cat is depressed and underweight with a body condition score of 2/9 (ideal = 5/9). Mucous membranes are pale.
